I do not ship for the safety of the plants. If you see an arrangement that you would like to buy, there are two ways that you can pick it up. For both of these options, you are committing to picking your arrangement up at the time/place that you say you will. If you do not keep you commitment, I will not hold your arrangement for you.
Option #1 - CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE DUE TO COVID-19 I can hold the plant for you until my next event and meet you there. This is the most convenient for me, so if this works for you, please choose this option. If you would like to do this, please put the event where you would like to pick you arrangement up in the third box of the order form. I will email you back within five business days to confirm your order.
Option #2 However, if that does not work for you, you can make an appointment to pick up your plant in Zeeland MI. To do this, write "pick up by appointment" along with the number(s) of arrangement(s) you would like to buy in the third box of the order form. I will email you back within five business days confirming your order and letting you know of the times I am available that week. Pick a time, and I will send the address.
Dressed for Successes (D.F.S.) guarantee Because I want your arrangement to thrive, I do the best I can to "dress" it in way that makes it easy for you to care for. What this means is laid out in the D.F.S. guarantee.
1. Soil All arrangements will already come in the right kind of soil, so they don't have to be replanted in order to thrive. For succulents, I used a mixture of cactus potting soil and perlite. This allows the soil to be well-draining, so that the roots of the plants can dry out between waterings like they are supposed to. For terrarium plants, I use regular potting soil, which retains water well, but is also reasonably well-draining. Air plants are a little different, since they don't use soil. For air plants, this part of the guarantee means that the plants will always be able to be soaked under water. I won't attach them in impossible ways that don't allow for them to be properly cared for.
2. Space Have you ever seen those arrangements where the plants are packed together, overflowing out of the pot with no space? While this might looked great at first, it's really not healthy for the plants. Packed that close together, they will very quickly outgrow their pot and not look so good anymore. Because of this, all arrangements will allow the plants to have some room to grow. You should be able to see soil/stones/sand in between the plants..
3. Health You arrangement will look just as happy and healthy as it did in the picture, no nasty surprises.
Refunds and Plant returns
Once your arrangement is in your hands, the plants are your responsibility. If your plants start to look a little sickly, I would love to give you any help I can on my Q & A page, but I will not give you a refund. If you ordered your plant online, and when you came to pick it up, it did not fit the D.F.S. guarantee (within reason), you are definitely not required to buy it. As an apology, I with let you pick out another arrangement for $5 less than it's normal price. Otherwise, please keep your commitment and pay for the plants that you ordered.
Q&A All appropriate questions will be answered within five business days from when they are posted.
